KidWorks Volunteer Application

We ask that our volunteers…

  • Are high-school age or older.
  • Complete orientation/training at KidWorks.
  • Complete a volunteer interview with a KidWorks staff member.
  • Complete a Live Scan background check.
  • Commit for a minimum of 4 months (or semester/quarter if you are a college/high school student).
  • Preschool Volunteers only: must get a TB test done or have TB test results current within 1 year and available to show plus proof of additional immunizations

Plug into one of the following areas!

Classroom Volunteers:

Dates:
DDC: Monday – Thursday, 3:00 – 5:00 pm (K-5) or 5:30 – 7:00pm (Youth)

Spoke Centers: Monday – Thursday, 3:00 – 4:30pm (K-2nd), 4:30 – 6:00pm (3rd-5th) or 6:00-7:00pm (6th-8th)

Responsibilities Include:
Provide homework help and assist teachers with program activities and lessons

Preschool Volunteers:

Dates:
Monday – Friday, 8 – 11am or 12 – 3pm
(August – June)

Responsibilities Include:
Provide classroom management and assist teachers with their daily activities and lessons

Support Volunteers:

Dates:
Varies by time and department

Responsibilities include:
Administrative, fundraising, graphic design, event planning, marketing, technology, and other types of support.
