We see God at work every day and ask that you pray alongside our church and faith partners as you are able.

We believe God is at work every day in the lives of KidWorks students & families, staff and community. We ask you to pray alongside us. 

Spring/Summer 2026

Thank you for joining us in prayer this new year.

Prayer Requests

For Our Spring Season

• Pray for a strong finish to the school year. As we near the end of the academic year, ask God to give students focus, perseverance, and confidence. May staff be energized to finish well and continue fostering a culture of growth, respect, and belonging.
• Pray for momentum heading into summer programs. Pray that God would create excitement and strong engagement for upcoming summer opportunities. May families feel invited and eager to participate. 

For Our Summer Programs & Camps 

• Pray for Kids Club, Elevate and Summer Leadership Academy. Ask God to use each of our summer programs as spaces of fun, growth, and transformation. Pray that every student would feel a deep sense of belonging, build meaningful relationships, and grow in confidence and character. May our youngest students experience wonder and encouragement, and may our youth be challenged to step into their leadership potential with courage and purpose.
• Pray for leadership development and identity formation. As students engage in learning, activities, and mentorship, pray that they would grow in self-awareness, resilience, and faith. Ask God to help them discover their gifts, develop their voice, and understand the impact they can have in their community as leaders.
• Pray for our staff and volunteers serving this summer. Lift up every staff and volunteer preparing and facilitating these programs. Pray for wisdom, energy, unity, and joy as they pour into students daily. May they lead with passion and intentionality, creating an impactful environments for every child and youth.
• Pray for our High School and Junior High Summer Camps (June 28 – July 3). Pray that God would prepare the hearts of every student attending camp. Pray that this week would be a time of deep connection, spiritual growth, and breakthrough. May students encounter God in personal and powerful ways, build lasting friendships, and return home with a deep sense of hope and faith.
• Pray for safety and provision. Cover every detail of our summer season… travel, logistics, activities, outings and partnerships. Pray for protection and smooth coordination, and that every experience would leave a lasting imprint on students’ lives, pointing them toward hope, purpose, and a future filled with possibility. 

For Families Facing Loss, Illness & Transition 

• Many in our community are navigating seasons of grief, uncertainty, and hardship due to government pressure. Please pray for God’s peace, protection, and comfort to be deeply felt by these families. 
• We also ask for prayer over several families, particularly single mothers, facing economic and emotional hardships. May they experience tangible provision, clarity, and peace in God’s perfect timing. 

For Our Students, Alumni & Staff 

• Pray for the mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being of all KidWorks students and staff. Many are experiencing anxiety or overwhelm. Ask God to fill them with a sense of belonging, confidence, and a deep awareness of His love, especially those transitioning to college or high school. 
• Pray for students and community members who are struggling in their personal relationships. May they feel supported and find peace and clarity as they navigate complex emotions and circumstances, trusting in God’s timing and care. 
• Pray for high school seniors as they prepare to graduate and move on to college. Pray for their parents as they navigate this new season of many changes. Pray for confidence and safety for students going to universities in other cities or states.

For Our Spoke Centers 

• Pray for our staff and volunteers at Bishop Manor which opened in October 2025. Lift up the team as they continue building a space of learning, growth and belonging. Pray for unity, wisdom, and endurance as they invest daily in students and families in Bishop Manor.
• Pray for our next spoke center, Minnie Street. Ask God to provide wisdom, financial provision, and protection as we plan to move into our next spoke center, Minnie Street. Identify the right community leadership. May they be marked by trust, shared vision, and meaningful impact as they work together to bring positive change in the neighborhood. 

For New Opportunities  

• Pray for new volunteers, partners, and program enrichment opportunities for our students. May our partnerships continue to grow in 2026 with individuals and companies who care deeply for KidWorks students.
• Pray for the Mentor Program’s continued growth. May the existing relationships between mentors and mentees be strengthened and fruitful. May students and mentors alike feel encouraged as they exit the program.
• Pray for more faith-related partnerships to come to fruition for our youth this summer, that more students will know the love and comfort of God.

Prayers of Praise & Gratitude

• We’re thankful for a successful opening of KidWorks Bishop Manor with a full center!  
• KidWorks is glad to welcome David Correa, Pastor at Eden Church, as one of our latest additions to the KidWorks team. He has already been an integral part of youth nights as he encourages both staff and students to seek the Lord. KidWorks’ partnership with Eden Church brings exciting opportunities for engagement events and youth bible studies. Some of our students are showing a deep interest in God, learning more about their faith and beginning to read the Bible their own.
• This year, KidWorks launched a youth Unity Council made up of ambitious and bright young students who have taken charge of planning youth nights, including the annual youth Lock-In (overnight) event in January. Each event has included a faith component and we are excited to see the students continue to seek the Lord.
