Programs – College and Career
College and Career Coordinator
The College and Career Coordinator develops and implements a college preparation curriculum for high school seniors, most of whom would be first-generation college students. The Coordinator also leads after-school classes and events for seniors, manages the Mentor Program, and coordinates with volunteers. Responsibilities include staying updated on college admissions and financial aid, organizing college exposure activities, and supporting students and parents through the admissions process.

Reporting to the Site Supervisor, the Program Assistant supports the implementation of year-round programming,
consisting of afterschool programs, enrichment activities, leadership development and summer programs for
students in grades K–12 at the KidWorks Dan Donahue Center. This role ensures the safety of all students by
maintaining a structured, secure environment and adheres to safety protocols. The Program Assistant is also responsible for assisting in the daily delivery of program activities, ensuring they align with goals and student needs. They collaborate with the Site Supervisor to adapt programming and work closely with volunteers, offering guidance and support to enhance their effectiveness. Additionally, the Program Assistant tracks student attendance, participation, and progress, maintaining accurate records and assisting with data collection.

Reporting to the K-12 Program Director, the Program Assistant Substitute implements elements of year-round
programs including, classroom instruction and enrichment activities for students ranging from Kinder – 12th
grades, all while fostering developmental relationships.
