We see God at work every day and ask that you pray alongside our church and faith partners as you are able.
We believe God is at work every day in the lives of KidWorks students & families, staff and community. We ask you to pray alongside us.
Winter 2026
Thank you for joining us in prayer this new year.
Prayer Requests
For Families Facing Loss, Illness & Transition
Many in our community are navigating seasons of grief, uncertainty, and hardship due to government pressure. Please pray for God’s peace, protection, and comfort to be deeply felt by these families.
We also ask for prayer over several families, particularly single mothers, facing economic and emotional hardships. May they experience tangible provision, clarity, and peace in God’s perfect timing.
For Our Students, Alumni & Staff
Pray for the mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being of all KidWorks students and staff. Many are experiencing anxiety or overwhelm. Ask God to fill them with a sense of belonging, confidence, and a deep awareness of His love, especially those transitioning to college or high school.
Pray for physical health for families and staff during this flu season. Ask God for strength and renewal so that we may best serve our neighbors.
Pray for students and community members who are struggling in their personal relationships. May they feel supported and find peace and clarity as they navigate complex emotions and circumstances, trusting in God’s timing and care.
Pray for high school seniors as they wrap up college applications. Pray for discernment and patience as they await acceptance letters and scholarships. Ask God to make their paths clear.
Pray for God’s leading and wisdom over the upcoming Campus Crash in April. May this week of college visits provide clarity and excitement to students as they think about their future. May it open doors to exciting opportunities.
For Our New Spoke Center – Bishop Manor:
Join us in thanksgiving as we celebrate a full and bright new center. Pray that God continues to bring the right families and staff to Bishop Manor. May the center be a place of light, learning, and transformation for every student and family who walks through its doors.
For New Opportunities
Pray that God continues to fill the KidWorks team with dedicated employees, passionate about His children in Santa Ana. Ask God to prompt the right people to apply for the K-12 Director position.
Pray for new volunteers, partners, and program enrichment opportunities for our students. May our partnerships continue to grow in 2026 with individuals and companies who care deeply for KidWorks students.
Pray for the Mentor Program’s continued growth. May the existing relationships between mentors and mentees be strengthened and fruitful. May students and mentors alike feel encouraged as they exit the program.
Pray for the Executive Team and staff as they consider opening a second, new spoke center. Ask God to provide discernment and clarity around exciting opportunities.
Prayers of Praise & Gratitude
We’re thankful for a successful opening of KidWorks Bishop Manor with a full center!
KidWorks is glad to welcome David Correa, Pastor at Eden Church, as one of our latest additions to the KidWorks team. He has already been an integral part of youth nights as he encourages both staff and students to seek the Lord. KidWorks’ partnership with Eden Church brings exciting opportunities for engagement events and youth bible studies.
This year, KidWorks launched a youth Unity Council made up of ambitious and bright young students who have taken charge of planning youth nights, including the annual youth Lock-In (overnight) event in January. Each event has included a faith component and we are excited to see the students continue to seek the Lord.
In December, we were humbled by the partnership and community attendance at our annual Christmas Store. We received hundreds of toy donations and we’re so glad to see the joy on our neighbors’ faces when they walked through the Store.
A Great Fall Semester:
We’re grateful for a safe and joy-filled semester, and we are excited to welcome students back to KidWorks after the holidays. Pray that every student feels supported, encouraged, and empowered as they grow in character, confidence, and purpose. May they be blessed with a great year ahead.
“Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.”
