We see God at work every day and ask that you pray alongside our church and faith partners as you are able.

We believe God is at work every day in the lives of KidWorks students & families, staff and community. We ask you to pray alongside us.

Prayer Requests

For Families Facing Loss, Illness & Transition 

• Many in our community are navigating seasons of grief, uncertainty, and hardship. Please pray for God’s peace, protection, and comfort to be deeply felt by these families. 
• We also ask for prayer over several families, particularly single mothers, facing economic and emotional hardships. May they experience tangible provision, clarity, and peace in God’s perfect timing. 

For Our Students, Alumni & Staff 

• Pray for the mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being of all KidWorks students and staff. Many are experiencing anxiety or overwhelm. Ask God to fill them with a sense of belonging, confidence, and a deep awareness of His love, especially those transitioning to college or high school. 
• Pray for students and community members who are struggling in their personal relationships. May they feel supported and find peace and clarity as they navigate complex emotions and circumstances, trusting in God’s timing and care. 

For Our New Spoke Center – Bishop Manor: 

• Pray that the KidWorks Bishop Manor Spoke Center renovation and Grand Opening stay on schedule with no further delays. May the new center be a place of light, learning, and transformation for every student and family who walks through its doors. 

Prayers of Praise & Gratitude

We’re thrilled to welcome two amazing KidWorks alumni back to our team. 

• Eva, a former KidWorks student who knows our community firsthand, has been hired as the Site Director of our new Bishop Manor Spoke Center. 
• Erika, another proud KidWorks graduate, has rejoined our staff to lead our K–12 programs, bringing deep wisdom, passion, and a fresh perspective to the role.

Both women embody the heart of our mission, empowering students to grow into servant leaders who give back to their neighborhoods. 

Back-to-School Blessings:

We’re grateful for a safe and joy-filled summer, and we are excited to welcome students back to KidWorks for a new school year! Our buildings are once again alive with the sounds of laughter, learning, and friendship. Pray that every student feels supported, encouraged, and empowered as they grow in character, confidence, and purpose. May they be blessed with a great year ahead.
