For the eighth consecutive year, 100% of KidWorks high school seniors graduated on time and all are pursuing higher education. 73% of KidWorks college students are on track to graduate with a degree
(compared to 27% of 1st generation college students nationwide).

An impressive 89% of KidWorks preschool graduates were assessed as kindergarten ready (compared to 44% of Orange County preschool students countywide).

We celebrated a full return to on-site programs that included activities to serve our students emotional, social and academic needs post-pandemic. Our after school programs included new tutoring appointments, additional KidWorks University enrichment workshops, field trips to universities and colleges during campus crash, plus spring/summer activities that included field trips, workshops and Bible studies.

KidWorks summer included six jam-packed weeks of programming. Students participated in activities like sleep-away camp, job site field trips, arts & crafts, wellness, theater, youth nights, sports and even a drum clinic.
Our 2022 signature events were a success, selling out and continue to help fund much-needed programs. Our Foundation for Success luncheon returned as an in-person event after a two-year hiatus, honoring Terry Donahue, legendary UCLA head football coach.

Volunteers were in full force in 2023. This year 1,349 volunteers, interns, and committee members served behind the scenes to make KidWorks programs a reality. We also re-launched our young professionals and faith committees this year.
Three new staff were hired to better serve programs in critical areas to support initiatives such as academics, family and community engagement and our College & Career Success Initiative™ (CCSI), which prepares first generation college students for higher education beyond high school and then towards meaningful careers.
