How did you become involved with KidWorks?

Via the Tea House Gang, a group of commercial real estate agents dedicated to volunteering and raising funds for KidWorks.

Share the most meaningful experiences you’ve had at KidWorks? What made them impactful to you?

Simply seeing the organization grow and prosper;  The commitment by the staff and the many volunteers

Can you talk about some of the biggest obstacles KidWorks' programming overcame when you were involved?

During my tenure, we had to figure out a way to marry a “holistic” approach to an after-school tutorial program.

What does KidWorks mean to you? Looking back, how did KW help to shape your life? How did KW help to influence the person you are today

Looking back KidWorks opened my eyes to how underserved many communities are with regard to providing a solid education and mentoring of future leaders.   I am certainly a better person for sharing my business experiences with the leaders of KidWorks in growing their organization.

What are your dreams for KidWorks over the next 10, 20, or 30 years?

I would like to see the KidWorks model expand to other communities and make sure that as an organization they track all their graduates on their career accomplishments.  They need to focus on mentoring those individuals who at a young age have the potential to become not only community leaders but business entrepreneurs.

Anything else you would like to share about KidWorks?

I am extremely proud of helping  the Dan Donahue Center  survive and grow as a  legacy for my deceased partner
