The KidWorks Mentor Program matches 12th-grade students with a professional who supports them through their college and career goals during the last year of high school and their transition into college.

Mentoring relationships are a shared opportunity for learning and growth. Many mentors say that the rewards they gain are as substantial as those for their mentees.

What to Expect

  • 2-year commitment
  • Group check-ins via zoom & during program time
  • One on one meetings in-person, zoom, phone calls or emails
  • Mentor Program Events & Workshops

Requirements

  • At least 23 years old
  • Completed a 4-year degree at an accredited college or university
  • Complete a Mentor Application Form
  • Complete a KidWorks volunteer application and background check (will be provided to you)
  • Attend mentor training (can be done remotely by video conferencing)
